Waterfront News is inspired by (but not affiliated with) a historic publication called "The Waterfront" which was a union newspaper from the 60s/70s. This website aspires to be a focal point and a voice for the communities of East Wall, Ringsend, North Wall and Grand Canal Dock in the same way "The Waterfront" was. The the Docklands area has so much to see and do, and so many hard working groups organise events and activities to help everybody feel part of the community. It doesn't matter if you live in a brick house or a glass and steel apartment block, you are part of the community and we want to help you explore it.
